Post-op Information

After you go Home:

• DO resume taking pain medication and anti-inflammatories when you go home.
• Do NOT take Compazine or other Phenothiazines for 48 hours after the procedure.
• DO relax and take it easy for 24 hours.
• DO drink plenty of liquids.
• DO resume your regular diet.
• DO keep puncture sites clean and dry. Change band-aid after shower. May take band-aid off after 48 hours.
• DO NOT drive or run machinery for at least 24 hours.
• DO NOT do any strenuous exercise, including swimming or lifting for at least 24 hours.
• DO NOT take a hot bath or shower for at least three days (72 hours).
